I've been busy this week preparing for Sunday and as is my wont whenever life gets a bit busy, I've been wearing variations of the same outfit for five days straight. It is not much of an exaggeration to say that I have been living in my cowboy-ish boots and this scarf my mom bought me. At some point I'll grow tired of this pairing and make use of the other parts of my closet, but for now this is all anyone will see me in.



Since I haven't been feeling particularly festive, I decided to get into the spirit by making Christmas cookies with my brother. As you can probably tell, we free-handed the shapes since we didn't have cookie cutters. They look a bit wonky but I really like the end result and they were surprisingly tasty. Now the only the task on my Christmas to-do list is wrap the presents. I've been putting this off, but I'm determined to wrap them by the end of the night.
